2008 Poll: Kentucky Uninsured Rate
According to the Kentucky Health Issues Poll, there are bout 23% of adults aging from 18 to 64 were uninsured during the beginning of 2008 across the State. Also thirty-one percent of the adults in the last 12 months were uninsured.
Researcher reviewed 1,632 people for the poll for the month of January and February. Base on the poll, 4.3 percent of the adults surveyed were Medicaid Statewide. At 8.8 percent, Northern Kentucky has the highest Medicaid beneficiaries while the 11.1 percent is the lowest percentage of uninsured adults. Base on the poll the older wealthier and college-educated adults were expected to be insured than those who were younger with lower income and less-educated.
