Today, there are thousands of existing health insurance policies specifically in the United States. A fraction of these is under the government supervision. Another fraction is handled by non-profit private organizations. The aim of health insurances is mostly social welfare through the provision of financial assistance. But other organizations or companies that concentrate on health insurance policies may have target profits.
